There are some good deals to be had this week.
#1 - Harris Teeter is tripling coupons. Lots of free items, if you clip coupons.
#2 - Kohls has 10-20-30% off this week. Use the 30% off code online, along with free shipping. I got lots of great kid clothes, a halloween costume and wall letters for the nursery.
Happy shopping!

where might i find coupons? also, how do i avoid being "that person" at the checkout line when i do?
You find coupons in your Sunday paper, in the circular/ad section. You can also purchase coupons online (such as on ebay). I used www.thecouponclippers.com this time to get Pampers and other coupons that would give me free items (total cost of coupons = $3).
To avoid being "that person" make sure you are buying the correct items so your coupons will scan. Follow the rules - no more than 20 coupons per trip, no more than 3 like items, etc. I went last night around 8:30 and was the only person in line, so the cashier took their time and made sure everything scanned.
Maybe I should do a post with couponing tips.
I don't get the Sunday paper AND time is money so I don't want to go out searching for coupons... I guess it's not for me :(
Store @ 8:30 round here is a mob scene. You've gotta go after 10pm to even find a parking space. I bike instead :)
Thanks for the shopping tip-offs--I need to get a bunch of stuff at Kohls and love their online bargains!!
Uncle Mikey - it is a hobby for me. I don't HAVE to shop with coupons, but I like to do it and see what I can get for the money. Obviously, I still have to buy the necessity items anyway.
Heather - the Kohls kids clothes are pretty decent, especially since they go through them so quickly! I get all Katie's play clothes there :)
Uncle Mikey -- I get tons of coupons, so you can go through mine anytime you like. Likely we don't use the same things. I get them from the Beacon, Post and Inquirer so there is quite an assortment. Come and visit and pick through. Take whatever you'd like. No one ever gets mad in line for being 'that person'. If anything, they smile and say 'Good for you, I wish I had done that!' And Jess is right about Kohl's, pretty good quality, nice household and gift items. Start your Christmas shopping.
